Overview

Screennexus collects and uses certain data, either directly or through authorized partners, to provide analytics and media performance insights for its DOOH Assets. This document outlines what data is collected, how it is used, shared, and protected, and what rights individuals may have under relevant data-privacy regulations.

What Services Does Screennexus Offer?

Screennexus provides Media Buyers with the ability to display digital advertisements on its network of Assets. Each Asset is equipped with technologies that enable Screennexus and its service providers to understand environmental and audience metrics—such as location context, exposure counts, and dwell times—without identifying specific individuals.

Screennexus does not collect or infer personal identities from those who pass by or interact with its Assets. Data gathered is anonymized, aggregated, and used solely to produce statistical insights about audience volume, movement, and engagement trends. These insights help Media Buyers optimize campaign reach and effectiveness.

What Data Does Screennexus Collect?

Screennexus does not collect PII that directly identifies individuals unless such information is voluntarily provided (for example, via a third-party QR code or mobile landing page). In those cases, PII is collected and processed by that third party under its own privacy policy.

Screennexus may, however, collect non-personal data, including but not limited to:

  • The number of people passing near a given Asset
  • Environmental data (time, location, screen ID, advertisement type)
  • Sensor-based measurements (e.g., pedestrian flow, ambient light, weather conditions)

What Information Does Screennexus Receive from Third Parties?

Screennexus may receive Aggregated or De-Identified information from:

  • Sensor and camera providers
  • Mobile or location analytics partners
  • Media Buyers or measurement service providers

This information may include aggregated mobility data, audience segments, or other statistics (e.g., “estimated pedestrian counts near Screen A between 8–10 AM”). Such information helps Screennexus and its clients better understand exposure patterns while maintaining compliance with data-privacy standards.

How Does Screennexus Use and Share This Information?

Screennexus uses data—never in a form that directly identifies individuals—for purposes including:

  • Campaign measurement and reporting
  • Audience analysis and traffic modeling
  • Operational maintenance of Assets
  • Research and product improvement

Sharing and Disclosure

  • With Partners and Affiliates: Data may be shared with trusted vendors or subsidiaries supporting Screennexus Services under strict confidentiality and data-processing agreements.
  • Business Transfers: Data may be transferred as part of mergers, acquisitions, or reorganizations to ensure service continuity.

Security

Screennexus implements administrative, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Although reasonable measures are taken, Screennexus cannot guarantee absolute security against all potential risks or breaches.

Data Retention

Data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, or meet legitimate business needs. After that period, Screennexus securely deletes or de-identifies the data.
